With the inaugural event's success, WWE Evolution 2025 is generating significant excitement among fans. The return of this all-women premium live event has sparked hopes for the appearance of legendary wrestlers on WWE programming. Notably, Lita and Trish Stratus made memorable returns during the original event in 2018, where Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch delivered an unforgettable Last Woman Standing Match.
As Evolution 2025 approaches, former WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green expressed her desire to participate in the event, sharing her dream matchups and unique stipulations.
Chelsea Green's Dream Matches for Evolution 2025
In a recent conversation on the Lightweights Podcast, Green revealed her aspirations to compete for the women’s championship currently held by Tiffany Stratton on Smackdown. Additionally, she proposed a match featuring two Canadian legends, where the loser would be forced to leave the country. Green also mentioned her long-desired 'Hair vs. Hair' match against Nikki Bella.
“Obviously me versus Tiffy for the title, hello? My second choice would be a triple threat: me, Natty, and Trish. The loser leaves Canada and loses their citizenship. I would love to face Nikki Bella in a hair versus hair match, where one of us ends up with a shaved head,” Green shared her ideas for WWE Evolution 2025. (quotes courtesy of a wrestling news outlet)
Chelsea Green emphasized her eagerness to face Nikki Bella but also expressed admiration for the emerging talents from NXT. She specifically mentioned her interest in working with Sol Ruca and Kelani Jordan when they eventually join the main roster. However, she opted out of a match with Jordynne Grace due to past experiences.
WWE Evolution 2025 is set to take place on July 13, 2025, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, and will be broadcast live on both Netflix and Peacock, following Saturday Night’s Main Event and AEW All In: Texas pay-per-view.
